The 19th September, 2022.

To,
The editor
The Bharat Times
47/Kali Street, Mumbai
India.

Subject, report against child labour.

Dear sir,

I would want to attract the attention of the responsible authorities and people of India to the social evil of child labour in our society through my column in your prestigious publication.

It refers to the use of minors in any business or occupation, especially when it is unlawful or exploitative. Because kid labour is readily accessible at cheap pay, they are easily employed.

Child labour is mostly caused by poverty. Poor parents send their children to work so that they can support themselves since they do not have enough money to meet their children's basic needs.

It robs youngsters of their youth and has a negative impact on their physical and mental development.
They have no access to healthcare facilities. To sustain big families, they must work long hours.

The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act of 1986 prohibits minors under the age of 14 from working in any sector or company.

However, it is not followed by the people of India. To remove child labour from society, the Indian government must enact stringent rules and regulations and enforce their application in every area and sector, including domestic help.

This societal evil should be made known to the public. Everyone should make certain that he does not hire any children in any capacity.

I hope that my letter serves as a wake-up call to the relevant authorities and society.

Sincerely,

To
The Editor
Times of India
Chanda 43 Road
Mumbai - 700892
India.

Subject, regarding child labour.

Dear Sir,

I'd want to use the pages of your prestigious newspaper to speak out against the biggest societal evil: child labour. Childhood is the most wonderful time of a person's life.

However, it is sad for children that, despite the government's ban on child labour, the practise continues to exist in our culture. According to statistics, there are 12 million child labourers in the India.

Lack of awareness and poverty are the fundamental causes of the problem. Poor parents put their children to work rather than to school. They are looking for financial assistance from them.

However, this practise has a negative influence on their health–physically, psychologically, and emotionally.

I hope that the general public is made aware of the children's suffering through the media. Otherwise, poor parents should be paid. The laws against child labour must be severely enforced.

Thank you very much
Sincerely yours,

Subject, complaint against child labour.

Respected Sir,

I'd want to use the prestigious columns of your publication to raise the authorities' attention to the continuing societal scourge of child labour. The exploitation of minors is known as child labour.

Growing up is incomplete without experiencing childhood. For most youngsters, this is the most unforgettable period of their lives, but regrettably, some children must labour under duress.

Poverty and unemployment are important contributors. To make a living, children are put to labour rather than school. They kidnap their children and use them as a source of income.

Not only that, but it has an effect on them on all levels — intellectually, physically, and emotionally.

Through the columns of your prestigious daily, I would like to propose that the government take some practical efforts to abolish child labour and raise public awareness.

The government should enforce regulations efficiently and penalise employers that fail to do so.

Thank you very much.

Yours sincerely,
